I am one of seven people in history to have survived an extremely rare genetic mutation.

& I was given a less than 1% chance of surviving.

Yes, I know. Crazy, right?

One day on June 15th, 2021 I felt the pain in my chest as I was trying to go to sleep. Little did I know, this would lead to two emergency transplants (heart and kidney), three forms of life support machines, in and out of comas, 3 months in the ICU, 9 months of dialysis, COVID, and so much more.

I returned back to SCAD four months after my kidney transplant because I was truly determined to succeed and continue to do what I loved. This is when the Center or Organ Recovery and Education reached out.

I began speaking to high schools, colleges and CORE events with up to 2,000 people at once. After speaking a few times, Merck Pharmaceuticals reached out and asked me to speak at their drug launches. This has allowed me to travel to places like Dallas, TX, and even Athens, Greece!

I love sharing my story, and it is truly an honor to be able to speak to such large crowds and inspire patients, donor families, and doctors.
