The brand has an opportunity to leverage the thing that makes them different from any other skin care line.

So that’s when I thought to myself…if BYOMA makes your skin STRONG, similar to how the gym makes your body strong…what if they positioned themselves as your skin’s personal trainer?

And thus, Hydra was born.

You’re probably thinking, Brooke, who IS Hydra?

Good question. Let me show you the process of how exactly she came to be.

I then googled “iconic brand mascots.” This was my result…what do you notice?

Meet the first ever body building female brand mascot:

HYDRA!

What if BYOMA’s mascot was a strong, bad-ass gym girl? And what if she was a skin barrier? And what if she acted as the personal trainer that got to answer personal questions about skin care?

Now, time to talk strategy.
